Art is a good way to Talk to Your Brain 03/28/20

I did run out of room when I drew the map of CSULB so I had to add in two more papers. When I drew the map I started drawing the middle of the campus first, then the top of the campus where the library is, then finally the bottom of the campus where my major classes were. There were a few buildings that I did not know the names to so I left it as “??”. Drawing the automatic drawing was easier and I did not have to worry about running out of paper because all I had to do was close my eyes and let the pen draw. The project in all, was very relaxing and fun. I would definitely do this again.

I think the result of both my map and my automatic drawing, that I did with my aunt, was great! I was actually surprised to see how the automatic drawing turned out because I did not expect it to look well at all. In the end, I thought it looked abstracted and nice to see. All of my family members told me that it looked like it had an eye in the middle of the automatic drawing, which is creepy though.
